Ag Entrepreneurship Academy 2015 - UC Davis (USA)

During my stay in Davis, CA, I was awarded a small scholarship to attend this wonderful event. I was given amazing tools to understand and foster innovation in my future professional career.

"The academy combines focused lectures, practical exercises, networking sessions and hands-on experiences in an innovative format to help you explore how your research can make a broader impact in industry, the marketplace and the world. You’ll learn to identify market needs and opportunities, develop a network of experts to support your venture—and create agriculture ‘food chain’ clusters of innovation." - Ag Entrepreneurship academy site. Phenodays 2013 - Valls (NL)

At the beginning of my MSc in The Netherlands I was given the chance to attend to this core convention about phenotyping, a powerful tool for modern breeders.

"PhenoDays is overall a great meeting for anyone interested in plant high throughput phenotyping. I like that usually includes talks from the leaders in the field, tours to relevant facilities, and also that is small enough to allow one on one interactions with pretty much all attendees. I have gotten great collaborators at this meeting."- Argelia Lorence, Professor at Arkansas State University, USA.
